Seraphina

After relenting to my wife, I have began reading Seraphina by Rachel Hartman. Her debut novel, I am ashamed to admit, is actually quiet good. I grudgingly recommend this to any young adult that likes dragons and fantasy novels.

The only place in the lower 48 that is more than 100 miles from a McDonald's is a barren plain in South Dakota. That just blows my mind!

The Raven Boys

I have to recommend The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater. It is a fun psychological thriller. It is even better listening to the audio book read by Will Patton. I can't think of anyone ever reading a book so well. Cheers!
